I hate thats upgrades to. But i understand that more than 50% of donations here is for buy ups. And players buy thats units for win. Without win they dont need to buy. No need - no donation (or lower) - no free game.
Maybe you'll dont use diamots to by units, you want to play fair. But many players here want to win. And fair or not - not their problem. They bought this win.
And again. Upgrade is not all. I saw (and took part) in many battles where diamond players were lose. Others hate thats ups and destroy them first. |
To straws : that is really unfair if someone brings any diamond upgrades to a tourney .... I mean that diamond upg is only for hunting and mercenary quests only or thieves quests ....

Let me tell you this: I have played Heroes of Might and Magic for over 15 years and I appreciate what the developers of this game have done as much as any player in HWM. What people like aru fail to appreciate is that not everybody has the real money to put into HWM.
For those who seem to have completely misunderstood the original point for discussion, the idea is that rather than getting an advantage of jumping 2 levels for a creature upgrade, perhaps contibutions could be given another, more straightforward advantage such as gold or resources.
This would mean that people would level up more quickly, but players at the same level would remain so in combat. If you catch my drift now? |

By that stream of logic, why not allow level 1 players to buy diamond upgrades for all level 13 creatures and constructions? If money and quick progression through the game are your priority, surely this would be fairest? |
