you looks like you r new in the game thousands of resources sweaped from the mines without the proper gold payed and hundreds of artifact have gone smoke.
is amazing the fact that all this hapen in couple hours 2 to 3 the most...;) |
Very well, I admit I didn't check the exact quantity of resourses on every mine - and I guess even with all factories completly restocked there still should've been plenty left on mines.
All in all it looks like economy is back to where it started - on the very first day of game. |
then is a new start, and i like to give some base in what i write because is trouth. bye bye and goodnight.:) |
Imo the problem is that the cash market gets drained by other things. There is only so much input of cash (Hunts being the main one) and the ability to drain cash from the game is higher (Roulette, Mini-arts, repairs, buildings, etc). Forcing AP will only circulate existing cash, it wont "create" new cash. So as long as we are spending more money then we are producing, the system will need an infusion from time to time.
One solution to the problem would be to balance the system with something, higher rewards for hunts or higher regain for selling used artifacts. Removing ways of draining the game is an other way of solving it (Remove the roulette for instance, or make the "profit" of the roulette return back to the game somehow). Increase the time spent producing in the factories (relativly more of the players money would then come from outside sources like hunts).
Personally I don't think its possible to balance the economy in such a manner that it will work without infusions and still avoiding the players from flooding the market with cash. The easiest way will still be to infuse the market from time to time. Forcing AP will however increase time spent between doing so.
Well that's my 25 cent's anyway. |
i think its a waste to buy resources just to be employed
369 gold for sulphur but your wage is 1/3 or a little bit more from that
it just like your paying to get labour skill point!!! |
it just like your paying to get labour skill point!!!
You can sell that sulphur and get that money back (at a few gold loss). So really it's like paying about 4-5 gold for a LG point. It's not really that bad... |
i think Perkalov have touch the economic problem of the of the game with his/her comment, also there are thousands of "dead" char's with a huge amount of gold out fo the system. if there is away to put that gold back on the game is some kind of solution?? |
to cacoon
that will only help a little bit...
----------------------------------------------------------------
anyway, i think admins can create as much gold as they want, cant they?
all admins hv to do is put in more gold into the mines/production places... it would definitely help...
also, another thing that admins can do is (this has been said b4) to make more working places (preferably mines) |
there are 170000 char registered but the live's idont think tobe more than
5-6 thousands think how much gold they have. |
It's not about putting in extra money for the sake of satisfying labour demand. Inflation could set in. Besides, those that complain about lack of jobs are the players who are lazy to travel.
As Perkalov (44) suggested, infusions from time to time would help. Look at real world economies for instance. |
didn't read most of the topic...
but, doesn't that look a bit weird to you all ?
