| Hi pple, would someone care to tell me how is the experience gain of smithing measured? E.g Is it by the repair cost of the artifact? |
| every 1 point for smithing cost 4000 gold. |
| 1 SG point = 4k gold = 1 hour or repair. |
it seems to be that.
i tried to repair my combat staff.
costs 3600 gold, for 0.9 skill points.
then i decided to sell it and to buy a round shield instead, to improve my smithing on it, because it's cheaper to repair.
cost 120 gold, for 0.03 skill points.
it seems to be 4000 gold for 1 skill point, but i'm not sure.
i will look at the price to repair my next broken artifact to have a confirmation of this. |

| The number of artifact repaired is 100% irrelevant. The only useful value is the amount of gold burned in the repair process. |
