If you mean for doing normal stuff like hunts, then IMO, you really don't need them as they cost a lot to wear in the long term.
If you are doing PvPs, Duels, MQs, etc, then it's a personal preference as wearing them would/might increase your troops' chances to win, vs the cost of wearing them |
at lvl 5, what troops should I take? max griffin and swords? or max griffin and bowmen?
and what talent and artifact should I take?

Training chambers allow knights to use their racial ability, Training. The hero is able to train lower tier troops into higher ones.
Training chamber increases your troops count. Every time you level up in your faction/racial level, your tier 1-3 troops numbers will increase. Go to your Recruiting page to add the additional troops, where applicable.
It also allows the Hero to train lower tier troops into higher ones (Eg: Farmers to Recruits). |

At some levels, certain factions will 'own' another faction, all things being equal. Eg: If you do a duel with an Elf with same minimal arts, Elves will own you almost every time. Not sure whether the same applies to Barbs at that level though.
So avoid duels (do PvPs if you must play against other players) with limitations to arts. |

Interesting. I have to admit I have not witnessed a fight between lvl 8-9 Knight and Elf since most players at/above lvl 8 don't do duels, and play PvPs most of the time.
Do u have any links of duels between knights and Elf >level 8? I'm interested to see a 1v1 fight between these 2 factions. :)

| i know but the fight i saw the knights lost every time and it was not a duel it was a group battle but everytime till 5 times only 2 players joined one level 9 elf and level 9 knight |
i got some on duel with DE in lv8 - 10. but there is 1-2 fights with elf but i cant find the links.
telling the truth, you cant beat might elf with your might knight ;p
from my exp against other knight, what i know is magic knight > atk knight > def knight > magic knight.
i guess the rules still same apply to other faction. might knight will never win might elf and might DE, somehow my spell knight can kick them hard in duel.
dont worry on elf, they wont like to be spell elf. BUT, magic DE do kick your butt hard in duel. |
