Is it even possible to defeat the DE caravan with 16 sp???

He was doing over 100 damage to my gargs with LIGHTNING! That's a lot of damage to be seaping through my immunity, even with the ingore magic resist.
I think the poisoning should be implemented here .. try to maximize ur Darkness magic and chaos .. ^^ but against Chaos DE have resistance :)

It is possible to defeat DE caravan with 16 sp. With the talent magic mirror it is possible. Since whether mirror trigger or not was random, so it still was hard to beat this kind of caravan.

Did you confuse the wizard faction topic with the dark elf faction topic? You're comment makes no sense for wizards.

It's possible. Just remember when playing against DE caravans, its a race against time. You need to play more aggresively because if you just go in a corner and defend, the caravan hero could kill you with his spells before you kill his troops.
what should i do when i face wiz brigands {2}? I met them 3 times in a row got pwnt 3 times in a row with full arts..

1.I suggest that you should have racial 5 or more,but it's fine for racial 4 with arts.
2.give ini+5% or faster mini-art to magi
3.lore keepers > magi & titan > giant > other large creature > the shooter in the corner > genie
4.garg try to avoid golem and moden golem before weaken them.

Mini artifacts are artifacts that you put on your creature stacks. You can see if a wizard has mini artifacts from a symbol on his creatures if you watch his profile ( blue dot / yellow diamond / green star ).

The better wizard faction skill you got the better mini artifacts you can make. High level mini artifacts are very powerful, but also very expensive to make.

Is there any idea about wizard thief fight against barb?

I really have problem with npc's ogre and cyclops.

And what I do to beat barb player?

You can't really beat barbarian ( caravan or player ) with magic. Caravans half to be easy with few monsters in order to have a chance against them ( Ogres boosted with 20 attack caravan hero are devastating and nothing you can do to them really ). You could get nature magic talents for punching to be better vs them but still that cant be used in thieving ( since you cant expect what caravan you get ).

Regarding players, as a spellcaster wizard, if barbarian has good faction level your chances to win are very slim. It gets a lot better with good mini artifacts that give attack/luck once you get a good stack of genies and sphynx to punch through, but until then i suggest you hide behind some bush :P

It's possible to win barb caravans, just not all of them. At lvl 8, I've noticed you do more damage with lightning than magic punch (at least the caravans I've seen). I try to go after the cyclops first with magic and by placing either a stack of gargoyles or golems next to them to diminish their damage. Also I like using the genies to cast dark magic on the cyclops. Then concentrate on the rocs and orcs.
How is calculated Genies spell duration?

What is their darkness magic level?
Duration is the amount of genies in the stack, and Advanced level if I dont remember wrong.
It depends on the spell. If genies cast poison, the amount of hps the creature loses is based on how many genies in the stack(5 = 40hp I think), duration is the same I think its 3 or 4 turns. Curse, delay, and weakness - the amount of turns it last is based on the number of genies in the stack.
It depends on the spell. The spellpower is the number of genies and the skill is Advanced Darkness Magic.

So for delay it lasts as many turns as number of genies and the initiative penalty you can see from advanced darkness magic entry on the spells effect table. Same thing about confusion, curse and weakness.

For poison on the other hand, advanced darkness magic means it lasts 4 turns and number of genies adjusts how much damage it does.

Disruption ray has specific effect ( determined by darkness magic ) and does not get affected with spellpower ( which means 1 genie or 20 genies will do the same exactly disruption ray ).
Oops, my bad, should say spell power equals the amount of genies. and I did not remember wrong, it was advanced =).
Sorry I got it wrong 5 genies will cast poison that takes out -60hps.
