im now a level 9 hero. from lvl 8 to 9 you cant build new things and recruit more people. but the thief armys seems to doubled her power and so all of my ambushes end soon.
is there any hope? its better with level 10? |

true afte rlevel 9 they get tough but see at level 11 u get 4 teir upgarde +6th tier so it becomes easier sort of and u get 1 more magic school but make ur talents better

They become slighty easier at level 10 than they are at level 9 because you can have an extra talent. Also i found that if i used the best arts i won everytime but if i down graded i lost. |

I only can talk for myself as a barbarian: In the first fight after reaching level 9 I thought like you... "No chance at all". Now in full arts (50 AP) and the maximum initiative I can get I've just finished 5 ambushes in a row. It helped me a lot to watch other barbs at their level 9 ambushes, maybe you should have a look at other knights. |

LordSchniesel's advice is a good one. One can learn a lot by watching successful ambushes from other people.
Here's another possibility: wear NO ARTIFACT at all, beyond the bare minimum. And lose, lose, lose again. After some time, caravans will get weaker. If you have time, it's another way of getting caravans to a manageable level. |
