AuthorMagic shield and proof - Any difference?
does that formula also work with 1 mithril art and cape of winds? i mean if we are hit by air elemental damage, cuz when i see hero stats it says 5% magic resistance, 25% air resistance. does that makes 30% or use that formula?
such as cold blade + 5% water = dmg * (1+0.15)(1+0.05)
Certainly not. This way you'd get even more than 15+5=20%. The commutative formula for extra damage would be dmg-(1-0.15)(1-0.05)*dmg ~19.25%
for iron_eagle:
use that formula. The exact same magic resistance effects are never additive.
How about for ignore opponent's defense?

Let's say that I have a 10% Ignore opponent's defense, +10% Air, +10% Earth.

Is the total damage that ignores opponent's defense...

A. 10% of what the damage would be if unenchanted (ignore is not affected by +Air or +Earth).
B. Somehow cumulative for all 3 (I don't even know how that work work).
C. 11.9% Damage (cumulate for Air & Earth, but not Ignore)
D. 12% Damage (additive)
