Are those empirical numbers or how did you find them? And does the probability decrease for hunt assists?

well, you say now that you had 100 chances with 4%
but dont forget that for the first 20 wins you only had 3% chance on an item
since your huntersguild was still 0 , back then =) |

1 point for solo hunt, .5 point when you're helped, .1 point if you're helping.
To be absolutely exact, the amount of Hunters' Guild points you get is twice the faction skill points when you are the main (or solo) hunter, and always 0.1 points if you assist. All this is in case of successful hunt, of course.
Usually if you solo a hunt, you get 0.5 faction skill pts, hence 1 HP pt. But there are some examples when you get less, like 0.46 fsp. In that case you would only gain 0.92 HG pts. |

Okay I was a little bored so here is the full story:)
average probability of getting artifact using numbers in 4 = 4.3%
mean number of artifacts for n=107 battles = 4.6 artifacts
standard deviation = 2.1 artifacts
This means that 68% of all players with 107 hunts would get 2.5-6.7 artifacts. 90% would get 1.1-8.1 artifacts and you are within this group. So is that normal? Depends on your definitions, I guess...

Let's just say I used a total of 107 hunts giving 1 HG point each, which might not be completely true for the topic starter, but probably close.
