As a Clan admin I would like to see how many other Clan admin's would like a "Vote" ability added to the Clans.
I have a situation where I am "Spamming" the Clan to gain a vote on a particular topic. I would like to prevent this as the more "spam" messages the less members pay attention.
All I would like is the ability to set a tab or click through which directs members to a vote dialog. Clan Admins need to set the question to be yes/no/maybe(or undecided) and a script manages the results once the member votes. The votes to be defined via a date/time range and results messaged (or posted) for the Clan Admins.
I hope this get some discussion started and maybe assist Clan leaders!!! |

agree!!!!
especially when most of the clans now offer "right to vote" facility when it comes to donating to the clan.
btw, isn't this suppose to be in Ideas and Suggestion forum? :p |

You can have it in your clan forum (external of LoWM website, of course). Most forum software allow polls. That's how we do in the Warriors' Guild.
Of course, members choosing not to register to the community forum can't vote, but that's their choice after all - like in the real world, where not all citizens have registered to vote. |
This is true, however our current external forum site does not have that ability and I am waiting to see if this can be rectified.
I am interested in how many other Clan admins would like it inside LordsWM. |

I agree. This sounds like a great idea.
Of course this along with many other features can be provided outside of LordsWM. We can go without mail system, in-game clans, or even this forum. All these features can be done separately on external websites, but I'm sure most players can agree that it's better that those features are already available in the game. |

I ask this to see if Clan members prefer external forum sites or 'in game' forum polls/votes in order to reduce Clan group messages.

I guess everyone (including me) would prefer a poll/vote on the Clan page. Yet, since it's so easy to get a poll/vote in any external site, I doubt this request ranks high in game designers' plans. |
I don't like out of game forums, and I also support the idea for an In-Game poll/vote feature.
It shouldn't be too difficult to code one in, anyway.
