I only just started watching anime on Animax recently, and I must say I enjoy ed them very much.
The only anime series which held my attention all the way till the last episode was Nodame Cantabile. Currently following Fullmetal Alchemist.. :P |

Lol... Street Fighter II V. What a classic. It was already a classic back when I was kid and rented it the VHS tapes from Blockbuster with my cousin. It was the first time we had rented any video. I didn't think it was so lame. There's a lot more out there that much more lame. But then again maybe my memories are flawed and I should go back and watch it again. :) |

Thanks. I started watching Code Geass. You are right. The supernatural powers, the ambiguity of justice, and the chess like plot are very similar to Death Note. To me Code Geass seems to be inspired by Death Note and Gundam Seed. Gundam Seed has all the mecha and similar technology as Code Geass. Also the Code Geass is set in a different political universe and is very much driven by poltics just like Gundam Seed. Also found in Gundam Seed is the issue of what is justice and how loyalties are blurred with double agents. |

Yeah, I had fond memories of S.F.II V too. But they constantly have these memory flashbacks throughout the whole series that makes you watch the same flashback over and over again and up to like...3 or 4 times per flashback. The buildings looked great but the characters, well, not so much. Well I could go on, but thats enough gripeing from me. |
