I just lvled to lvl 5.
Should I get sprites? As I always use as little faeries as possible, I am not sure whether I should upgrade.
Also, can I know of some tactics of how I can use my spells? I am still not very sure what they do. |
Yes you should get sprites because their broad attack make them beasts in hunts, merc quests, and sometimes even player versus player battles.

| Use either rain of arrows or basic fortune,rain of arrows will be helpful in group battles since it can attack several units. And +1 luck from basic fortune will help out hunts, merc quests, or players vs players battles. |

| Rain of Arrows: Hero gains an ability to attack all stacks of favored enemies on the battlefield. The damage dealt this way is increased by 30%. So since any creature you encounter in an hunt is your favored enemy it will hit them. It will Only hit creatures that are on your favored enemy list in your Avengers Guild. |

| Wondering about Rain of Arrows. What happens when you use it and none of the units on the field are your favoured enemy? |

it depends on the type of hunt. try to hunt zombies with fk's and try with sprites. you will understand the difference. |

try to fight poisoners/genies without any sprite and with some sprites. you will do better with sprites.
try to hunt ranged troops with fk's, archers and druids (if you have) and fk's, sprites, less archers and druids (if you have). you will get better results with the second option.
try brigands only with fk's, archers and druids (if you have), and try with fk's, sprites, less archers (as bait) and druids (if you have).
...and so on.
sprites are weak in defence, but they have their characteristics which make them more suitable than fk's in different types of combats. |
