| Ask for a assist when hunting? | | you need hunter guilds level 2 and when you have that you will see an ask for assistance next to attack when you encounter a neutral creature. | | When you reach Hunter's Guild 2, you will get a option to ask for an assist on the same window as the hunt initiation screen. | Adding on what the others said, if you add someone to your friends, you can choose to ask that person in particular to assist you.
Just be sure to make sure your buddy is not afk first, and your buddy has to be the same level as well.
Don't worry though, if he doesn't click accept, you get the last minute for others to join too. | | yes, when you reach hunter guild level 2, you can ask for assistance. |
