| i keep hearing about diamonds what are they and what are they used for? |
You get diamonds as a reward for donating to the game. If you want to donate real-life cash to the running of this game, there's a link on the right side of your Character page.
Each Euro you donate grants you a Diamond. Diamonds can be used to do building upgrades at a much earlier time and at a (depends how you see it) lower in-game cost. Go to your Castle page and click on Upgraded Buildings on the right hand top corner of the list of buildings to have a look at the options.
Each diamond can also be exchanged for 2500 gold in-game if you so desire.

As example,sprites need to reach level 5 to recruit.
By using diamond,you can recruit sprites at level 3. |
