Hi, I'm wondering how magic works for elves in this game. Im level 3 so far ive put all my stats on attack but for druids at level 5 will i need to add other stats to make their spells better, do i have to learn new spells, if yes how.

I know I sound like a newb, that's because I am :P |
Dont use magic for elves |
spellpower wont effect druids damage, but it will be useful to have at least 1 knowledge and 1 spellpower so you can make the spells you learn at lvl 5 better. At lvl 5 you have the opportunity to build Mage guild lvl 1 which will allow you to learn the following spells Bless, Rapid, and Magic punch. |
Have a look through this thread. It's a bit long, but it shoudl help

Thanks so much! |
No magic
I was a level 5 elf I say stack your damage in attack and get rain of arrows special ability |
At lvl 8 i think though don't elves get resurrect? If so isn't that a spell worth having? |
I just checked the best elf player in the Top Players list and he had two points on knoledge but none on spell power... what?!?!?! |
you don't need spell power. the smaet elf should have 10 mana (1 knowledge point) at level 5. and only use bless and repaid. they do not need much, or any spell power to take effect. all elves should use some spells, though not too often. |
Thanks a lot by "repaid" you mean rapid right? And just out of curiosity what do those two spells do anyway? |
Is this the faction topic or the helping topic? |

Bless 4 Mana (Level 1)
The spell fills an allied stack with holy power, increasing the creatures’ minimal damage.
Duration spell.
The minimal damage rises up to min+T*(max-min), while T depends on the Holy magic talent level.
None: T = 50%
Basic: T = 65%
Advanced: T = 80%
Expert: T = 100%
Rapid 4 Mana (Level 1)
Increases an allied stack's Initiative, making its turns come faster.
Duration spell.
None: 20% Initiative
Basic: +25% Initiative
Advanced: +30% Initiative
Expert: +40% Initiative |
Until level 8 (including), no need to have more than 1 knowledge. Even if raise is a tempting spell, it is more damaging your qualities than helping you in the combats. Raise will decrease your troops moral by 2. Also, excepting raise, the second level spells are available on your troops (being even more effective than coming from your character). So, until level 10 when you get Summon Phantom, your knowledge should be maximum 1 (it helps for Bless and Rapid). The rest of your points are better placed in the attack (and, sometimes, 1 or maximum 2 in defence). |
@13
20 mana at level 8 can also be a good choice
Because with 10 mana you can only do 2 spells, but with 20 mana you can do 5 spells
If you use them at the right time, can make a huge difference |

It may be, I don't deny it. 1 is enough for me for the moment, but who knows? |
Ok Thanks a lot all! |
