Authorcomplaints about some kind of thieves :)

a kind of player trying to steal time from thief and making life miserable, hoping that ambusher goes AFK.

Well when i was travelling full-art (guess why), i've been ambushed.

and since i was full-art i didn't wanted to waste my art-usage and went for fsp. But this guy hoped that something goes wrong at my side (a crash or a willing afk) and skipped intentionally some turns and made the game long. Since victims have right to defend themselves if ambushed, i don't find this kind of approach ethical.
You don't know if they are havinga blackout, you don't know if they hhave internet problems, you don't know if their computer freezes, you can't report them for bad sportsmanship, the only thing you can do however, is to send a angry letter, angry enough, while not getting you banned.
Semi-afk is wrong, no matter who does it. On .ru it's punished by penalty (as non-sportive behaviour) and I rather hope it will be punished here, too, someday.
I think that a big part of this kind of problem is due to the long time given for every turn. It's 120 sec (if I don't make a mistake) when 30 sec could be enouth. 45 sec as a maximum if you want to help those who have slow connection.

And yes, i agree, times for ambushes are very long, almost 2 minutes each turn, they should reduce it to 30 seconds or something

Ambushes are time loss for victims and thieves want to proceed to the next ambush as fast as they can. After a long setting-up time and first turn, it is very reasonable to make it 30 secs.

@2 : This guy is not a noob. Multiclassed at high level and TG4. Knows exactly what is going on. and didn't timed out at setup phase or turn 1 (although started with default positioning). Very aware that i was in full-art.

i agree with 9. turn timer and setup is too long, though sometimes the 'victem' takes too long to refreash the page
I agreed with 9 too. The initial setup time should remains while the turn timer should be reduced. But I suggest that the first turn could be reduced to 60 or 90, while the rest of the turn will be 30 or 45.

The longer first turn is for those unaware to have time to respond, but too much time can be very irritating. Ultimately, Thief would want to finish fast and carry on while victim too wants to finish it fast to do whatever he wants to do by traveling
