if i find an artifact in hunt (say i have HG5) is it totally random what i get am i just as likely to get a hunter broadsword as a great hunter armor. because it seems i always get the rubbish arts mainly hunter broadswords.
what is the probability of getting H, MH and GH arts
and not this 3+HG% i know that
and also i know there was a topic on this but i dont think it answered this question |
I'm pretty sure all arts have the same chance, except Hunter Gloves which has 2x chance, since there are 2 in a set.

Strangly this is the forumal that works for me and for you (if I look at your fights). What proof did you have, that the formular didn't work, although the numbers are not on your side? |
He's asking for formula to get specific artifact, not just H/MH/GH item after hunt.

| it would seem #7 that its not chance when you got 7 MH arts at HG 5 compared to 1 GH. also u got 2 hunter broadswords which i seem to get a lot of too because they are rubbish and MH maskrobes aswell but theyre not bad |
| I think we'll need more info if we are to discover formula (if there is one) ourselves. Skuwak's info is a good start, but I'm not convinced it's enough to draw any conclusions. |

| i think although it is small amount of data we can certainly draw that it is not totally random jrf found 2 MH boots and 2MH shields?? thats very odd random if ever i saw it i also seem to get a few MH boots i think ive had 2 MH boots and 2 jackboots. also where doe it say what artifacts youve had?? i want to know how you lot found out so easily what ur arts were without sifting throught every single battle in your combat log |
you cant jump to conclusions from only 10-15 items.
You need tons of items from tons of players.
And then i really mean the last 200 hunts or something, and then from at least 100 players
And even if you gather all that information, then you might find something like this:
chance to catch an art is (3+HG)%
and IF you catch an art, then its
HG.....H.....MH.....GH
0.....100%...0%.....0%
1.....100%...0%.....0%
2.....100%...0%.....0%
3......60%...40%....0%
4......45%...55%....0%
5......40%...30%....30%
6......25%...35%....40%
7......20%...30%....50%
8......15%...25%....60%
9......10%...20%....70%
Do you get happy if you FINALLY (after weeks, if not months, of collecting data) have this table ?
Then you know the chance to get an item, and you can calculate that (for example) the chance to find a great hunter broadsword with HG 6 is 0,30%
(1/12)*(3+6)%*40%
Then what? There is nothing going to chance
So yeah, if you really want to, you can try to find it out, but its completely useless and a waste of your time |
+ that table I just posted is some random percentages
Just to give you an example of how it COULD look like after months of work :P
So dont make any calculations from them, because im 99,99% sure they are wrong |

| I mostly get Master Hunter Arts...but I get more Great Hunter arts than I do regular Hunter arts. If that helps any ^^ |
