im not gonna do this so dont get any ideas but what would happen if i set an ambush and my multi char gets accidently caught up in it. accidentally not deliberately
will you be punished because both chars are in a battle or what??? what would appen? |
Yes it is illegal,
First of all, multis are meant to familiarize yourself with other factions,
not to play them as a second main, so they shouldnt even reach level 6
But aside from that, if you set an ambush, you know the locations between them, then you log out, log in on your multi, and travel between those 2 locations.
So its on purpose, you cant catch your own multi "by accident"
So you will be punished, but how big the punishment will be... no idea.
Might be a gold penalty or maybe even a block
But it is a contractual combat + 2 of your characters
So it will be a heavy penalty |

| yeah but you may be logged in as 2 charcters at the same time (i think you can do that) say ur main sets an ambush from YL to GC and ur multi does an MG quest and must travel to GC surely if he gets caught in that ambush it is unlucky. not a deliberate rule break. would this bring on a heavy penalty?? |

Also your multis should never reach the same level as your main, so you won't be able to ambush yourself.
There are no rules about multi being of any specific level - and you can't ambush yourself unless you're actively trying to do it - and _this_ is not allowed. |
There's no lvl cap on multis, but based on the spirit of the rules you can read it as the main should be higher level.
multis should be used to test out other factions without having your main switch factions. it would be weird if the testing faction multi becomes higher level than your main. if that becomes the case, you should be switching that multi to be your new main. you can change mains once. |
