I am trying to get a photo into a new album with no luck and I have been trying for many days now.
The image is 900pixels wide/266K/jpg format.
Is there a reason I am not being successful with the uploads?

Happens. Only thing you can do is upload them again and again until it works.
Not sure why it is so, and yes, my solution is pretty poor, but atm it's the best advice I can give. |
Is there a possibility that the image could be too high quality?
I generally save them as 72 pixel/inch.
I have one image uploaded (uploaded first time too) but that was a scan of a photo and all the others are digital pictures.
This is a great feature and hope these glitches can be smoothed over soon!!! |
I m having the same problem
Try editing the picture (just make it 2 pixels smaller or something) and then save it under a different name (but still as .jpg)
Maybe that works.... or try uploading it when there arent much people online.
Dont know if it works, it worked for my previous image, but now it isnt working anymore =( |

| try copying and pasting it in word and saving it try uploading it that way |
Thank you all for your ideas but I think it relates to the image details that get saved with the image from the camera... i/e aperture and shutter speed etc...
If this is the case is will post here once I rectify the issue.

| try uploading your pics without the description. you can always add it later. it works for me sometimes. |

| adobe photoshop, GIMP or similar complex software. ACDSee manager is also not bad. do NOT use standart windows progs like paint or ms office picture manager! |
| Try to save the JPG as non-progressive and non-optimized, because on some server the Image lib gets confused by that parameters. |
Sorry everyone,
I have had a HDD failure and am working to restore and rebuild...
I have at this time not resolved the issue but I will keep everyone posted if I can finally figure the issues.
