Exp - Depends on how much the thief hero kills.

Yes, he or she can.
So far, the only criteria I kinow is that your army must be at least 40% ready for you to be ambushed. Having no AP when you need minimum AP to combat still trigger an ambush.
I got ambushed twice with no arts already last week |

sometime i saw thief hero ambush two player
i mean 1 vs 2.They are same lvl.
but alot of thief hero lose. :)

| If there are 2 players traveling the route, thief can catch them both. When that happens thief loses more often then not, simply because fighting 2 is difficult :) |

No it is random. The thief hero cannot choose who he/she ambushes. Sometimes he/she will get caravans, sometimes it will be players. |
