AuthorTalent Wheel Changes
First of All. This is only to Improve the game.

I would like to suggest some changes in the Talent Wheel that can be logically explained.

1. Barbarians Warcries introduction.
Offensive and Defensive Warcries (need mana, give more choice to the player)

2. Luck Talent Section for Each Faction.
Luck is everywhere, why should some faction cant have it ?

3. Add/Remove Talent Section so each faction as the same number of section. I would suggest 6 and what I see should be changed.
- Knight (has 7) Remove Dark Magic (No one use it, at least as far as I know)
- Necromancer (has 5) Add Luck Section
- Barbarian (has 4) Introduce Warcries (Offense and Defense)
- Elven (has 7) Remove Offense (Always been a Pacific Faction)
- Dark Elves (has 7) No sure between Sorcery or Knowledge
- Wizard (has 5) Add Luck Section
- Demon (has 6) No changes.

Last but not least.

Phantom Forces spell is out of control.
I suggest a modification or removal of that spell
Modification could be something with Spell Power
Spell Power = % of success
Like Success = 50 % + 4 % per spell power

Oh yeah, another thing, maybe better explanation for some talent like Rally.

Agree with everything only changes i would add is either remove phantom completely or give it to everyone that makes the game fair then.

I think the talents, as a whole, should be reconfigured. But maybe sticking to HoMM stuff and methods. If it's balanced for HoMM, it should be balanced here (more or less).

Maybe reducing the ability of all talents and opening up all talent trees to all factions but you can only choose a certain talent trees. Once you choose a section, others become closed to you or something (Take Dark Magic, and you lose access to Holy Magic, etc)
well in the real game all factions with magic can learn all magic, only they get two magic schools with their faction package, they can learn the rest from shrines, altars, and certain treasure areas (pyramids) perhaps non-included spells can be learn't this way.

now we'll have 40+ shrews running around breaking every record :)


there should also be each faction's second unique talent. (not sure on barbs, know other 6)

Knight: Benediction- raise the attack, defense, morale and initiative for own troops for the battle.

Necro: Banshee howl(this was discussed in the necro faction topic)- decrease the morale, luck and initiative of all enemy living enemies.

Wizard: Consume mini-artifact- consumes the mini art of a stack, removing that mini art for the duration of the battle, then healing the stack equipped by an amount of health proportional to the level and number of artifacts.

Dark elf: Elemental vision- increase damage of elemental spells by 2%?(this is negitiable) per current knowledge parameter

Elf: Deadeye shot- hero has a chance to shoot an arrow that inflicts at 130% damage, if the target is on the hero's favored enemy list and deadeye shot triggers, the shot will do 150% damage.

Demon: Mark of the Damned- lets the lord place a mark of the damned on a target, target then receives 4*lord's level worth of fire elemental damage whenever it makes an action other than wait or defend.
I think DE has shrews those are 4 times better than the sprites .. :) So, summon phantom still should be there .. :)

the reason barb doesnt have these here, is because they are different than barb from homm v, there's a name i always heard, steppe barb, i think thats the name for barb from homm v, they should have rage and war cries

and i agree wizard should have luck section, especially sorcerer's luck :)

Wizards rely on science and magic... mostly magic..

Mark of the Damned - necro term not demon... damned means undead.. lol

Thats totally logic.

For Mark of the Damned, I think its the name they use in HoMM5

Wizards can improve their luck with mini-arts, that's their way of getting luck, no need for an additional luck section.
In that way, should we remove Luck from Elven Faction, they already have Critical Hit from Racial Skill !? They dont need more

I recall wizards have bonus damage to magic against neutrals, which I recall very useful, while critical hit is pretty much only useful when facing creatures of a single type.
Give defence to wizard!! Give us battle fury will just make Jabbar top player in no time...
fusei, you forget something : All neutral creature are considered favored enemies. Anyways, thats not the point here.

Try to check your facts next time, for example in army or brigand MG-quests you just have one type as favoured enemy, not all.

Wizards have a way to increase luck and don't even need talent points for it, so I fail to see why they need an additional way to increase their luck above that of all other factions.
Fusei, sorry mistake : All monsters at hunt are regarded as favoured enemies, regardless of who is chosen as one, except elvish faction creatures. (Its hunt only, its still a big bonus)

As for Wizard, it can be change for something else, I was just finding it logic that luck could befalls on anyone. (Dont be so toward aggression in your post)

If you have an idea, suggest it.

Only if max number of gargs is cut to 20 :P
no, wizards totally need sorcerer's luck!
