why is the timer on hunt sooo long if someone is afk it takes ages for them to time out absolutely ages. i would just like to know why the timer is so long because surely if in a PvP battle you can set timer to 30 seconds if that is long enough to take a turn, why oh why do u need 2 minutes to make a turn in hunt?? it seems a waste of time
surely a minute or 45 seconds would be a better time limit |
For Hunts, the timer is long but no one else is affected if the player is away from keyboard, unless there is a Hunter's Assistant. I have quit assisting in hunts because almost no one shares the gold with you and the experience is pitiful. The cost to the durability to your Artifacts isn't worth the little bit of experience you get.
If you are referring to the Troop Settlement Timer in Duels or Group Battles, then it's because it takes quite a while to split troops and get them positioned in the right place on the battlefield. I, myself, am never AFK during a duel or group battle and have found myself running out of time while I am splitting and settling my troops.
After the battle starts, the timer is much shorter. |
yeah but in a hunt assisst u have 2 minutes to make a move that is way too long |
So that if someone gets disconnected, he has enough time to reconnect and continue playing again before 5 of his turns are up. For difficult hunts I sometimes take a long time to make a move too.
It works both ways. Too long and you get one problem, too short and you get another. |
yeah so surely you can make a compromise of about 1 minute so that that is still plenty of time but it doesnt take ages for someone to time out |
Nope I can't. Only the admins can. And I doubt they read Q&H. |

Have no doubts - they do_not_read QaH :) |
