how leather armor can be sold below its cost?
800 g + 1 ore + 1% comission = 995 g
but some guys are selling it continuously for as low as 962 g
how is that possible? |

sure it's his choice but if someone always sells it below its cost then i cannot compete
and if there is no competition game looses it's meaning

Agree. Players can sell for 500g if they want to.

I think you asking how those players make a profit and not if they can sell it for such a low price. Anyone can sell for a loss. But for those players who are selling leather armor before factory cost, they can still make gold because they see it as getting higher wages.
Production wage: 205
Mining wage: 175
Difference 30 gold.
So you can sell for 30 gold less than cost to break even.
And if you have high labor lvl such as LG5, that's 3 times. So Difference is 3x30g = 90 gold. |

i also can sell stuff below its cost but not always and not 3pcs
about this production equation of urs; i'll keep eye on those sellers if they are really always employed at that factory. |

Look on the bright side. Not everyone in Yellow Lake with high labor guild is doing the leather armor thing.
I, for one, don't do it. Not sure about everyone else, but I don't do it because of the lack of inventory space. |

You got the good point. :)
I make 115 g more each time, and lose about 35 g in selling the armor, so total about 80 g more.
And the another good thing is the buyers can also save some money. :) |

Yep, I used to use leather armors for my min AP set. After I stopped using it, I sometimes rode your (and others) coattails to get into the leather armor factory. :)
Maybe you could put bahaka out of business and lower your selling price even more Not many players have LG6 :) |
