what is your motive, why do you spend so many hours enrolling, fighting, whatever....
I personally find my biggest motive in this game MoonVampire!!!
why?
cause my only motive in this game left is hunter records and in DElf faction MoonVamp rules... (so far)
not many PvP fight (it has been ages since my last 3on3...) and if there are any - it's arranged via PM messages...
would love more PvP but with whom???
but then again - I have MoonVamp... she done good, I hope I can do better....

really, i dont have a motive, im not addicted (anymore) i only play when i have a few minutes left or when im bored |
I love the arts especially arts level 7 and up .. except mithril boots and mithril helmet .. :(

Don't really have a motive. Since I am going to spend some time online everyday anyway, might as well immerse myself in this game :)

If anything, playing this game deadens your brain. Anyone who reaches level 7 or higher has a serious case of addiction and needs help, myself included.

a lot of my friends left the game dur to no new things. At present, my motivate is to achieve TG4.

IMO, you can't really generalise all level 7's and above are addicted and therefore, need to seek professional help. I mean, look at player "Ethereality" and you will know what I mean.
What defines addiction is that, you are willing to change your lifestyle extremely in order to play LWM frequently. For example, you skip school, skip sleep, eating irregularly, ignoring your main job (studying/working). If you are playing LWM only when it doesn't hamper your quality of life, then it's not addiction. Therefore, you can't just look at a person who is battling 30 battles a day everyday, and conclude (s)he is addicted. Maybe, (s)he just have a lot of free time. :) |

Various reasons i can think:
- fan of heroes games series , homm5 is badly coded performs bad on any system i tried it so far , and this is the best alternative ( homm3 too obsolete )
- browser game that nothing bad happens when you are offline -> ideal for someone that works and might be busy for extended periods of time/ have a lot free time on other occasions. Also the way it is designed, you can play while doing something else in the same time ( waiting for troops to recover - new hunt etc etc ).
- there is nothing spectacular in the PC game industry to compete with this and justify investing time to play. After world of warcraft everything else simply feels obsolete.
- good balance of factions makes the game quite interesting. In the majority of the other browser games i tried ( mostly strategy - rpg oriented ) that balance is inexistent. And of course graphics > text games....
Still the game needs updates now and then cause it's in the verge of becoming obsolete soon :P Online games are all about evolution - static games die fast. |

Not only obsolete, sometimes disgusting too. It's since the release of Sid Maier's last work that I don't find any good pc game. |
hmmm i am losing interest very quickly in this game nowadays... it drags on too much and takes for ever to achieve goals... also they havent given us anything new for such a long time...
I have just started playing Heroes V... now that is a worthwile heroes game. 3d actions, lots of fun and excitement and it doesnt take months to move up a level...

As for me - i like to do something that cant do others... I need some thing to train my concentrate. And this game interesting for me from HOMM series 1-5.
BTW, i like pvp too, but pvp battles to long (2x2 and 3x3). At work i haven't so many time, at home i dont want to sit so long near computer without breaks. |
