Barbarians and enhcantments

AuthorBarbarians and enhcantments
Hi

I'm a barbarian, and not a very rich one anymore ;-)
Can I benefit from enchanted weapons, I don't use magice otherwise - and if so, wich enchantments are usefull for me?
Any enchantment is good for you, especcialy Ignore Enemy Defense, signed with a I and a number after it ^^
Weapon enchantments increase Melee damage.
Any enchantment on Swords, daggers, bows, knuckledusters, etc are considered weapon enchantments

The enchantments look like this:
[E <number>] - All troops deal +<number>% more damage. This extra damage is considered Earth type for resistance and immunity

[F <number>] - All troops deal +<number>% more damage. This extra damage is considered Fire type for resistance and immunity

[W <number>] - All troops deal +<number>% more damage. This extra damage is considered Water type for resistance and immunity

[A <number>] - All troops deal +<number>% more damage. This extra damage is considered Air type for resistance and immunity

[I <number>] - All troops have + <number> % chance to ignore the defence value of the defending stack in an attack

Up to 4 of these can be combined (depending of the skill fo the enchanter)
and the limit to <number> is 10. So most top players currently walk about with [E10W10F10A10].

The total % damage increase is multipicative, not additive, so [E10W10F10A10] does not give +40% damage, but 1-(1-10%)(1-10%)(1-10%)(1-10%) = 34.4%
3:

% of damage is additive when it refers to different enchantments. So a weapon that does E10W10F10A10 gives exactly 40% extra damage :) The increase is multiplicative when it refers to two same enchants on different weapons. So if someone uses two weapons with E10 each, the total earth damage he deals is, like your formula implies, 1-(1-10%)(1-10%) = 19%
for Jabbar:
I was told by Arctic it was multiplicative either way.

So is it 40% or 34.4%?
I do believe its addictive one each weapon but multiplicative with several weapons.

So single weapons = 40% extra
But 3 = 112% Extra
There was some time ago an extensive thread with calculations about this, and someone showed with numbers that the version i wrote above is what applies ( he took as example sprites which have specific damage per hit and easy to do calculations - and analyzed some hits ). The numbers seemed correct when i read that post but unfortunately i can't seem to find it ( don't have much time to search atm - working ^^ ).
