AuthorWhat does these terms means.. ?
Hi all,

Got a few Qs-

1) You know when u have a hunt and u click on 'Attack', the battle screen will come up, right? But sometimes, when I clicked on Attack, I see this message: "*enemy's name* takes to their heels", but the battle still comes up after that. - What does this "takes to their heels" mean?

2) There is a rating for every hunt: Piece of cake, easy, medium, hard and.... "Challeging". What does a Challenging hunt means? Does it mean it's harder than "hard"?

3) In the Two Towers game, what does those different symbols under "Type" means?

Thanks in advance.
yes challenging is harder than hard and take to their heels means u get a chance at a co hunt which is fighting two stacks of enemies with another player
and what do u mean by different symbols under type in card games im looking at the screen and i cant find any "Type"

This means that the monsters are positive that they can't win, so they are calling for help from another group of monsters. Then there is a chance that your hunt will be combined with another players hunt. For example you chould join my hunt & I could be fighting a 200 hydras & you were only trying to fight 50 Gargoyles.
Challenging means you can equal or break the record for your (knight,...)level.

That is wrong. Challenging just means harder than hard. The top records for your faction and level can be much higher than your challenging hunt.
1) There a 5% chance that you will merge a hunt with someone in your area that is having a hunt at the same time. Basically your hunt runs away when they see you and they end up running into another hunt.
You will end up in a 2v2 hunt; You, your hunt, another player of the same level, his/her hunt.

2)Yes, Challenging is harder than hard

3) The symbol with a '1' means Single deck. The one with the Infinity means Infinite deck. In Single deck, there is only one of every card in the deck and when a card is played or discarded, it is reshuffled into the draw deck. In Infinite deck, there is no limit to the number of each card and you can end up with multiple copies of a card in your hand
3) In the Two Towers game, what does those different symbols under "Type" means?

If you are referring to the "Type" column in the Tavern join screen, then that's just infinite deck and single deck of cards.

infinite deck means that all cards have same chance of appearing.

single deck means that each card have limited quantities. and since it's limited, you can count cards.
for Pantheon (and the others):

Ahh.. that clarifies a lot of things.

Coz I was in a challenging hunt earlier, and when the screen appeared, I was surprised to see I was fighting some different monsters and I have another player in there ! haha..

Thanks again. :)
1 more Q -

I noticed on the Gambler's Guide table on this link (https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=10), You'll see this for lvl 12.

12 800 10000 Free drink: +1 luck for 2 hours once in 24 hours.

What does a FREE DRINK means?? Surely it can't be the site owner will send us a Coke or something right?

Thanks in advance.
But u can find harder than challenging when U met Take to Their Heels .. :) Be careful ... but happens rarely .. :)
for #10 You get a drink from the game tavern at Gamblers guild level 12 that increases luck by 1 for 2 hours once a day.
