Gating

AuthorGating
Hi all,

Have some Qs on Gating -

1) Does gating always works? If not, what is the % and what determines it?

2) If you stand on 1 of them gating 'hexagon', will the creature still gate?

3) How long does it takes to gate? 1 turn?

4) If I were to kill the creature who gated other creatures, will the gated creatures die?

5) I tried looking up and reading it myself, but can't seems to find this Gating power. Is there a link I can read about Gating and others? It's not under

Special abilities: https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=32 or

Spell: https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=31

Thanks in advance.
Gating
This is a unique Demonic ability which allows your troops to call for additional reinforcements right on the combat field. The amount of troops summoned directly depends on the numbers of the summoning stack. Any demonic creature led by a lord is able to gate a stack consisting of 20%+4%*[Demon skill level] creatures of the summoning stack. This ability is extremely useful against neutral creatures. You will be able to distract enemy troops with the summoned armies and destroy them with your main forces, use magic or simply run them over with everything you've got.
Gated stacks disappear after combat. Note that if only gated creatures are left, the Demon loses the fight immediately, as if he or she didn't have them at all.

If 20%+4%*[Demon skill level] makes less than 1 creature it's treated as chance to summon 1 creature.

If you stand on gating hex creature is gated to the one next to it.

Stack that gates - 'waits', creaures that are summoned appear on next turn.

4) If I were to kill the creature who gated other creatures, will the gated creatures die?
No, unless you kill all original stacks. See above.

if you kill all them has not is gated they all will die
Yes, so a great counter to Demon's supposed supremacy in numbers... kill all starting stacks and the gated shall fall at once!

Yes, yes.. now I just have to pay more attention in battles so I know and remember which creatures are the starting stacks, and which are gated. hahaha..

Thanks for all the replies, but I don't seems to see the answer to 1 Q -

According to this "Any demonic creature led by a lord is able to gate a stack..." ], BUT i sometimes see this in the battle log: "X creature fails to gate". So gating is not 100% successful?

Thanks.
If 20%+4%*[Demon skill level] makes less than 1 creature it's treated as chance to summon 1 creature.

please read answers carefuly.
actually, you can tell which one is the gated critter. it's picture in the turn list is paler.
