"25. I got a faction skill level-up, but didn't get my +1 defense! What's going on?
Faction skill bonuses only affect creatures of that faction, therefore are granted to them, not to your hero."
So, if f.ex. I'm elf lvl 3, and in addition have wizard lvl 1, if I have + 1 knowledge during playing elves? | | no, you don't have knowledge as an elf | Faction skill bonus only applies to your creatures = you will not see the bonus on your character page but you will see it on recruitment page ( if you click on a creature and calculate the stats there you will see the faction bonuses apply ).
The 1 knowledge wizards have doesn't have anything to do with faction level. It is their primary bonus at level 1 ( every faction has some bonus at level 1 and it changes to that every time you change faction - elves have 3% initiative ). So when you change from elf to wizard you lose 3% init and gain 1 knowledge - if you switch back you lose the knowledge and get back the 3% init. | Elf Level 3 gives all your eleven troops +1 defence, +1 attack & +1% initiative
Wizard lvl 1 gives all your Wizard troops +1 defence
