Hi all,

I have never played a wizard so my Qs here might sound silly to some of u, so pls kindly bear with me.

I was looking at this link,

Well if you are creating minis for N creature you need N sets of resources. N<=30. So if you are to creat +1 atk for 30+ gargs you would need 30*183g=5490g which is really expensive for level 3. Further more, double minis costs 4x as much for double the effect and triples 9x. So +7def +4hp i have for my gargs costs almost 180k not cheap at all :(
*continue*... and it looks to be that them wizards have it good. Very cheap to have their parameters increase by leaps and bounds !

I take it that "Wizard Skills" means combat level? Or faction level? Either way, to be able to add +10 (!?) Attack/Defense seems to be a LOT compared to other factions no?

Or even +3 luck or +14 initiative ! Wow.. all for the price of like 5-10k worth of minerals. Is there something I'm missing?

Hmm.. so u have to multiply by the number of troops/creatures u are gonna add it to. So if 100 magis, u x100? If that's the case, noit cheap then. haha..

But for those who 'somehow' manage to get all the gold they want, he's gonna have a helleva strong and powerful Wizard ! haha.. :)
so u have to multiply by the number of troops/creatures u are gonna add it to. yes, but 30 miniarts are enough for stack of any size. Also double miniarts (and triple) cost much more. Average triple miniarts for gargs cost about 500k afaik. read wiz faction topic for more on miniarts.

Yes, you multiply by the number of creatures you have, you cannot apply a smaller number of mini-arts than you have creatures (will have no effect)

The max number of a certain miniart is 30, and number of troops above 30 is considered to have free mini-arts.

The number of types and strength of the mini-arts is determined by Wizard faction levels, so it's pretty hard to get high bonuses.
let's say you want to make a triple mini art for ur 90 gargs. you need 30 mini arts that give 9 def 3 luck and 9 attack that's 17 wood and 17 ore for each.if u buy them from mining spots then it costs 6256 for one mini art.for 30 mini arts that's 30x6256=187680gold.But hiddenshadow said that triple arts cost 9 times more!does that mean the cost is 187680x9=1.689.120gold!!!! i must be mistaken so can someone tell what i'm doing wrong?
Triple mini arts cost per component is multiplied by 3.
So for the 9 attack in a triple mini art you need 27 wood
9 defense needs 27 ore
3 luck needs 21 wood and 21 ore

So 1 mini art of 9att/9def/3luck needs 48 wood and 48 ore
To make that for gargoyles you need to make that x 30, so only 1440 wood and 1440 ore total ( or in gold 532800 if you buy wood and ore for 185 each ).

And that's only for gargoyles.
Is there a max to what a Wiz can add to mini-art?

I mean, if each wiz troops have additional +10 Attack, +10 Defense, +2 Speed, +6 HP, +3 Morale, +40% Magic Proof and +14% Initiative, they are basically &#237;nvincible', yes? haha.. :)

Man, if I can somehow reproduce conterfit gold, having +10 Attack, +10 Defense & +40% Magic proof.. I'm gonna have an army to match the army in LOTR! haha.. :p
Anyway, just curious, has anyone wither here or .ru ever max out 3 of the parameters? I can imagine using that army for hunts, theving, merc quests etc.

Would be better than DEs at high levels, yes?

So if a wizard maxed out the mini-arts, say +10 attack, +10 defense, and +40% Magic proof, it's still not as good as DEs at high levels for doing hunts, quests, etc? Since I read most high levels players switched to DEs coz of the hunts, quests, etc..

No, the thing is wizards main damage comes from hero spells. Magic Guild level 3 did not grant any improved single target spells, so basically wizards gets weaker and weaker in hunt and merc from level 10 on, while all other factions constantly gain strength at a steady pace from increased recruit count.
