On weapons enchantments give you bonus damage of that type.
Example:
E10 (Earth 10%) enchantment gives you 10% more damage (earth type damage) for your troops when they attack.
A10W10 (Air 10% + Water 10%) gives you 10% more air type damage and 10% more water type damage for a total of 20% more damage
The different types are because certain things have protections or immunities to certain elemental damage
On armour, enchantments give you protects against that type of elemental damage
F20 (Fire 20%) gives you 20% less damage from fire damage attacks

Another question concerning elements:
Does anyone know if the jewels' have eg: "Ignore water shield 10%",
then:
-Will barbarians' magic resistance against ice clod be reduced by 10% ?
-Does it affect magic resistance gained from talents?
-Or does it simply affects resistance gained from armor enchanting??

the piercing in jewels counters the specific elemental defense offered by armour enchants only.
barb and other magic resists are not affected. |
i want to reduce the lighting damage dealt by druids on my ghosts...so which one should i enchant on my armour?
so earthen spikes earth magic na?
then what about ice arrow?which enchant should i do my armour? to reduce the damage taken....

armour enchants stop only chaos spells.
air shield to reduce lightning |
you should take either
nature
raise dead
phantom
death punch(forgot name)
or
darkness
delay
curse
or wadever
enchants are nice, but will be pricy |
@7 don't confuse him
there's no enchant for dark spells
and nature enchants for raise and punch aren't worth the money.
also phantom spell isn't affected by any nature enchants. |
