Why was thread "cheaters" closed?

AuthorWhy was thread "cheaters" closed?
This thread https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1849340 was closed, with the helpful explanation "https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1838938, 16". I looked at the rule, and it seems to refer to malicious use of process, but the link in that post (and many of the posts I checked in that thread) seems to be a relatively obvious multi/financial assist setup. I'm not a party to this, so I'm not posting in CaA about it, but I'm asking as a question, why was this done? I have to wonder if the mod just did not want to deal with such a long thread. But that doesn't seem a good reason to rebuke what seems to be a rather dedicated sweeper with so little explanation given.
By the way I don't mean this to be a complaint in disguise or anything, I'm very pleased with the actions taken in CaA recently, I'm just curious as to the rationale in this case.
First off: https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=6, Section 5.1
5.1. Administration's actions and decisions are not subject to discussion.

Of in this case, the Sheriff's actions and decisions are not subject to discussion.

But I highly suggest that in the future, all people use the appropriate complaint format in your posts and not just a single link (referring to the thread in general)
And sorry, I will have to close the thread due to the first point I brought up. Thanks for your comments.
