I do not really understand with "This game is broken"
This game is broken, because at high levels
- hunts become impossible
- some types of merc quests become impossible and you just keep on declining the same quests 5 times a day, which is really frustrating
- while other merc quests (like X monster {0}) are ridiculously easy, no fun at all
- you have to lose 2 caravans to win 1 on the long run
- get used to using min (or close to min) arts in ambushes as the use of enchanted art are not sustainable financially
- using min arts means that you keep getting beaten by players travelling in full arts (not a big deal at the first times but it becomes really frustrating over time)
- and if you happen to be an elf for example, you can't even do group battles 'cause elves get really weak on lvl 11
- no new items, no new monsters, no news from admins, 2 tournaments a year....
- and so on....
So after lvl 11-12 or so this games looses all the fun, it becomes plain grinding. There is simply nothing that means real challenge, but with a decent likelihood of sucess in return. You also loose the fun of seeing your character continuously evolving, gaing strength. No new challenges to develop new strategies for.... Got it?
I think admins realized this on .ru, this might be the reason why they are having events and tournaments almost continuously. But apparently, players on this server are not donating enough to keep up the admins interest. (I do not blame them for this, running an online game is business, not a charitable act.) |
With over 6 000 battle fought, no wonder he had enough of it !
He probably had a lot of fun for almost 1 year. Who's asking for more from a free-to-play internet game ?

Ok as many of you are asking. Kiaune will quit in 3 days.
As some people know it takes 3 days to change your password and email address. Once they are changed that is it game over.
Kiaune is fed up of everything.
+ the addtion fact most hunts are impossible. |

kianue has passed the most interesting part of game. It PvP.
The game is intended on interesting battles between the players, and the guilds give only small bonus to the character.
Business everyone to play as he it wants, but someone chooses a fast way to finish of game

One day maybe you will undestand that a game like this needs events and a constant attention from admins.
Without events it's like having a counter on your head. You don't know it, but every fight you are getting closer to the point you'll have nothing more to do.

Game doesn't need attention from admins - there are stuff to do if you like everything in this game. Of course attention from admins helps and we all want it, but there are a lot of things to do. And yes my hunts are also close to impossible too... and my mercenary quests.
Every PvM online game can give a certain amount of content in any given time. Some games give more, some give less. There will always be people that play too much to finish the content before admins release new stuff. I played another game ( can't name cause of forum rules but suffice to say it's by far the best ( payed ) mmorpg released ever - clear to see which i mean ) and there were periods up to 6-7 months with no new stuff to do for the hardcore player. You could raid everything and kill them 1-2 months after release then you had to wait. There was farming - there was pvp - there was idling periods also. And it was a game with subscription...
Anyway, this was bit off topic - wish you Kiaune good luck in everything you do in your life from now on, and may you enjoy more all the games you play from now on :) |
I tend to understand Kiaune's decision. I'm reaching high level and because of game demographics, the game is indeed less interesting. PvP is much fun, but it's hard to get many people for a group battles and there are so many spells, creatures and so on that it always takes 1-2 hours - when it can be done.
I regret all time spent hunting and doing merc quests while there was so many player-to-player interaction available.
My advice to people: indulge yourself in PvP games like there is no tomorrow. And make hunts, mercs quests and all only when you reach level 10, not earlier. This way you'll enjoy the game the longest. |
| thats gd advice kortin but its still a double edge sword u do that u will stuffer in other things like laborers guild which is very important |
| yes het combat log looks terrible :( the caravans and hunts are unbeatable. but then again, every single person on the top list on ru. is on lvl 14, and masterti isn't having trouble... so it's possible to play and lvl up |
