So I can see the bonuses I get from racial skills in the exp chart, but as I understand it, this only applies to units of the same faction.
So if I have racial skill 2 with elfes, only elfen units get the attack and defense bonus.
When I will switch to Knight for example, the units will not get these bonuses.
Correct so far?
Now what about the 3% less damage dealt. Is this always active? So lets assume I have elf racial lvl 2 and switch to Knight, will I still receive 6% less damage from elven enemies?
Thus would it make sense to actually try and get a few racial levels with different factions? | indeed. you will not be able to use the unique racial abilities of a faction, whatever your level in that faction is, after switching to another one, but yes, the 3% reduction will still work.

It's not easy to have it trigger in PvM, I think you only get the 3% reduction against AI caravans

You assumptions are correct. You lose the racial bonuses when you switch factions, but you will always have your damage reduction | @L.com
I think the damage reduction only works in PvP battles or at least there have to be an enemy hero (like in caravans). For hunts or mercenary quests they shouldn't work as far as I know. |
