Wasp swarm not reducing initiative or ATB?

AuthorWasp swarm not reducing initiative or ATB?
I used wasp swarm for the first time, and it did not reduce the target's initiative. It also did not knock the character back on the ATB scale- the next turn they still followed exactly before an unswarmed character. Is this spell not working, or am I missing something?

sprite wasp swarm dont do anything only damage ... but im not 100% sure
CGSM, I read that, which is why I posted- sprite wasp swarm does not seem to actually do what the spell description says it should.

Thanks jac. Anyone confirm this?
i confirm. i tested it.
Yes, I can confirm it.

Sprites' Wasp swarm spell dose not have a knockback (read: reducing accumulated initiative) effect. I have read it somewhere in the 'Help' section or some 'official' part of the Forum, but unfortunately I can't find the link to reference.
Forum search your friend and helper :)

for Van_GM:

In fact, forum searc sucks. It really doesn't help if you are looking for posts about a more common phrase as it doesn't have any 'advanced' options, like specifying type of thread (eg. Official, General, Trade, Faction...), date of post, etc.

All the same, most threads confirm what I (or we) said:

http://www.google.com/search?q=wasp%20swarm%20site:www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php
it did cost me about 3 minutes to look through those 3 1/2 pages (i usually don't klick on the links but overlook the lines google shows me and the topic then i usually know if something useful could be hiding at that page)
but to save those 3 minutes people prefer having other people wasting much more time where it is not needed

if you get 30 results well then i understand (because it would then be about 10 minutes since there would be more threads who don't relate to the topic you are looking for)

also since it's google you may specify your search (since google has imho excellent search functions): (an easy way to specify your search is search first and then add some things to the command line and load the new page)

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=wasp+swarm+atb+site%3Awww.lordswm.com%2Fforum_messages .php&btnG=Suche&lr=

(with just the word "atb" added i already reduced the hits down to 9!!! and the useful pages are still there, i guess anyone would find the answer from here on)

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=wasp+swarm+atb+-holy+site%3Awww.lordswm.com%2Fforum_me ssages.php&btnG=Suche&lr=

(with +-word you search for pages who don't contain "word" so if you add e.g. +-holy you won't find any pages with "holy" written on them so you won't find threads who compare holy magic with wasp swarm or just complain about all elf talents or how bad necro are in comparisan to factions with holy magic)

so it's not that difficult, now that i overthink it i may have used that specified search when looking for the first time
so it would have cost me only about 1-2 minutes!

it's not about not finding anything/too much, if that's the case you just didn't use your brain but abused the forum instead
and usually it's even faster doing the search yourself
Ok. Question answered with links.

Not a place to further discuss how search works, so Thread closed.
