best route is great capital <-> yellow lake
and it's not 120 people, its 120 player + caravan, you will face about 20-30 players on an average during the first 120 ambushes.
and it's not all that difficult as a dark elf, wear a full steel set and you can finish in 2 weeks easily (@4-5 hours/day) |

for all purposes GC <-> YL is best because it has the max number of players travelling.
caravans don't get easier anywhere, it's just that with more players moving you get a caravan/player victim faster in the gc <-> yl route. |

go to YL ... and set ambush from there ... if nothing happens in 4-5 min change place of ambush ... I did this way and I was able to finish 2 TG Lev in less than 10 days ...

you get about 80% caravans and 20% players, and in the 20% a few can be double ambushes.
tactics is rubbish for ambushing unless you have 3+ large creatures.
