I've spent huge amount of gold to make some small success in weaponsmithing and i hardly got to 2*5%. i knew it would be hard, and i knew that it was much easier for weaponsmiths that started their WS guild when this server was still young.
anyway, i just wanted to see how was it back then, when they were starting, and what i saw is just disgusting! i checked first pages of Commander's transfer log, and some dude (Gefesst) spent fortune on making Commander a good weaponsmith, with no interest at all! there's bunch of transfers where Gefesst sends his elements and weapon and gets just enchanted weapon in return. with that amount of elements he wasted on his "friend", he would've become better weaponsmith than Commander himself.

he was imposed a penalty of 50000 gold??? excuse me, but could i, please, create an account using different IP, then help myself to become the best ws in the game and then be imposed with that same penalty x 5!? please?
and, can anyone explain "transfers between .ru & .com" part?
in conclusion, this dude (Commander) earns tons of gold, and it's all based on cheating. he should be blocked right now. instead, he is getting more and more gold every hour.
maybe there's something that i don't know, and if there is, i am sorry for being so offensive and so outraged. but, until someone enlightens me, this is the way i see it.

The true indicator that this was a support character was that Gefesst wasn't receiving the "cash-back bonus" that Commander was giving everyone else. Also Gefesst would, after a short period, sell the newly enchanted item for less than the elements cost (Gefest would buy the elements an pass them to Commander for enchanting).
A sad state of affairs.
What's truly ironic was at the time of the penalty, Commander was hunting for multi-character cheaters and was complaining about cheaters himslef.

Try using search to find out more - it was a big scandal back in the day, and quite a few topics should be around for those interested in this thing.
He got the penalty administration deemed reasonable (though majority of players didn't feel that way), and loophole in rules was closed. That's it.

Multichars aren't tracked by IP only.

These two are using very similar system. But there is no rule stating you have to pay back anything for enchanting(only can be clasiffied as dedicated support/ financial assistance). If you check closely Zar has sucked its contributor dry, about 400 000 in elements.
So, if anybody has a brother, who is willing to help a poor enchanter(me) with about 500 000- 1 000 000, I would really like such activity, maybe send a gift to the other brother ;-), money-laundering really works.(Of course joking, I WILL NOT DO THIS, EVER).
Money laundering in lordswm: Its really nice when you think about it. You have 600 000 at your "fake brother" multiaccount, there is nothing against the rules to buy elements, send it to an enchanter and want nothing back in return. Then the same enchanter can send a gift(not more than 30%) to you, forgetting about the fake brother.
Back to the topic:
Commander was already a CaA topic, Derryk called him something like "filthy cheater". Derryk was his dedicated competitor and felt bad about this, but he could do nothing back then, so we can do nothing about it now. | Commanders cheating was the final straw that drove the character Warlord from this server.

I can't comment on whether Warlord was cheating, it seemed pointless to check due to his huge transfer log and announcement that he was leaving the game.
About all you can do is refuse to use the services of someone who cheated to get where they are today.

so, the filthy cheater is a filthy cheater after all. and he is punished for what? for finding a loophole? than he wasn't supposed to be punished at all :D

at least some of you are reminded of this great injustice and some of us know that our champion of weapon enchanting is obvious filth, that got away with cheating. maybe some will boycott him for this, so i am not sorry for digging this up now.

So if he had used a multi to do that, he would have been imposed a penalty of 500K ++ or blocked. But if he uses an independent character, he gets a penalty of 50k.

Old players forget, new dont even know, guy has customers for 6 months paying him 10 000 per day, he packed himself up pretty well, but it seems to be a nice representation of this server. Best way to earn gold is to send it from somewhere, best way to earn thief points is to ambush your dog`s account, best way to earn experience is to travel and hunt thiefs with your second laptop. Why should anyone be sad about it or care?? Its a game and its supposed to make us happy.

You dont have to go to library, my brother can enchant at your shop and your brother can use mine. Not that I would do it. | I think the penalty was 50k because at the point of him doing it, it was not against the rules but his actions were deemed to be not done with good sportsmanship.
So because of him, the rules were laid down and it is no longer legal to do so.

i know that questioning actions of administration will get me literally nowhere, but since you want to defend their "actions" with some "reasons", i have to say that 50k is nothing for him. so what's the point?
should i start looking for loopholes myself now? i am sure that there are many more. what happened with Commander is an encouragement for this way of thinking.
there's a game, a very popular online game that has a rule that, if you find a loophole in rules or a bug in a game, you are not allowed to abuse it, but report your observation. if you however do abuse it, you will be punished by blocking. nice rule, huh? | less than a week

yes, i just found out what happened, and i can't believe it. i mean, it is not Commander's fault that the leader of New Elite was some deranged, self destructive, actually i have no name that would be appropriate for that Warlord character, but Warlord got blocked, Derryk left, Commander got rich!

It belongs to off-game forum because it is topic closed 6 months ago, altough some are following Commanders example. I found better game) | Yeah, well he may be a good smith but well thanks to him one of the best clans was closed, he did massive destruction to our clan New Elite back old days and he was cheating himself and he had help from some mod or something and he didnt get punishment until the 1 good day, but well for that time Warlord's clan was completly destoyed and thats sad cause he probably was the biggest diamond buyer in this game if u look the clan page and transfer log
