Authoris this part of forum using it's purpose??
I really find interesting that soooooooooo many people congrats to themselves...

for me this branch in forum is really becoming useless...

even when someone does something hard to achieve (like MTi lvl 14) it's flamed by at least 10 topics of "congrats to me for (I did this-I did that)"...

really funny, and I must say that I feel sorry for all of you who have to grats yourself for anything...

LOL

sad, really sad.

enjoy.
Topic moved from "Gratitudes and congratulations" to "General game forum".
i agree, i have always thought there should be a rule against congratulating yourself in that forum..
^^ Gratz, ur topic is moved up :p
lol ,when shebali moved the fourm i thought that the general game fourm is useless

but still we need some people to gossep about their victories like MTI or leggy of kusika
It would be a tad sad if even Gratitudes and congratulations forum had to be channeled through specific forum rules, banning and so on.

Just my 0.02.
Yeah, more rules, more ban! *yawn*

I'm not saying it has to be bannable, but why garts for anything???

for instance: I might gratz player xxx for earning another labour guild point...

gratitudes are useless if there is no point in it.
in my humble opinion for that serves "off-game" topics...

for example: https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1858965
"congrats to all who didn't steal comment #4712 from me"

lmao

quoting your message (without the swear words), I ask: why should you care? If someone bragging about something alone, the thread will be quickly forgotten.

if you realy hate it just don`t bother coming to the fourm ^__^
I find it annoying when people congratulate themselves on stupid things, in my opinion if you have to make a thread to congratulate yourself on anything then you're a little attention seeking kid
To be fair, if it was indeed a kid (I have seen players as young as 10 yrs old playing ehre) doing it, I personally think it's fine. Kids will be kids, and it's only naturally they get excited over little things. So before we jump to wholesale conclusions, might be good to give someone the benefit of the doubt.

But if it's a grown man doing that, then it's a different story...
Even if it's a grown man, why would it bother you? I actually find these pretty amusing, in a good way. I think it's nice that someone is excited about something in this game. If the excitement is contagious, all the better.

I'm not sure if your reply was referring to me, but if it was, then - I didn't say it bothers me. I don't see from my reply where on mother earth you got that from.

If you are referring to the 'different story part', it was to COMPARE it to a kid posting it. Either way, it DOESN'T bothers me at all. Believe it or not, except for the General Game and Q&H sections, I hardly (read - Once, to the Leasing section to look at TGI rentals) visit other parts of the forums. So how could it possibly bothers me if I don't even read that part of the forums? Stop making assumptions, PLEASE.

I have read your other posts, you may have your opinion, valid or not, it's for others to decide. but PLEASE.. - stop making assumptions from what you THINK others meant when they post something, unless they explicitly said so, and not post a reply from fragments of your vivid imagination of what you THINK they said/meant.

I'm sorry if this offends you or anyone else (not intended that way), but if someone is accusing me of something I have not done (or thought of), it's only right I defend and clarify myself. it's incredible the number of replies I see where words are quoted out of context.

Thank you.

How could anyone read this and not inteprete it as to mean that you don't think a grown man doing this is fine? "Bother" may be a strong word, but I don't think I made any huge leap of assumption here.

All your all-cap words only make me shake head incredulously.
How could anyone read this and not inteprete it as...

Isn't this an assumption by itself?

and there is a huge difference between 'different' and 'opposite'. I can explain what I meant by different, but judging from your reaction and reply, nothing I say is gonna change your mind or resolve that your assumption is 'right'.

Just to quote what I said in an earlier post -

might be good to give someone the benefit of the doubt., instead of jumping to a conclusion, even if the chance that you may have assumed wrongly is pretty remote, no?

Makes the forums (and the world, in general) a better place, yes?
judging from your reaction and reply

Ah. We can't make assumptions, no matter how reasonable, but we can judge. I see.
Ok, you got the last word in. I'm cool. Think what you may. I'm not gonna reply to it. I'm done with our little discussion.

Have a great day, all. :)
*My last post on this thread* this isn't to offend you, because you havnt said anything i agree or disagree with, but if i was you (which i am not and i know that) i wouldn't keep posting that after a long post.

ive seen you do this a few times. if you post a long post, people are going to pick it apart and human nature will make you go back on your word to try and defend yourself. so maybe rethink this method a little bit, if not, oh well, to each his own.

Thank you

*This may or may not be my last post on this thread*
we prob just need more threads congratulating randhy from barilla
