Does using full arts in merc quest increase the chances of getting an element?
Recently it seems like it does since (in my past 3 quest) ive used full arts and got 3/3 elements. Fire crystal and 2 shards. |

Also I would like to ask:
Does MG level 4 increase the chances of getting an element?
You know you can get 2 in 1 quest but do you really get more elements in 100 quests? I mean do the chances increase? |
The rate is a flat 20% regardless of the arts you have equipped

At MG 4, you just get 2 tries for an element. Think of getting an element at the end of a successful MG quest as a jackpot machine with 20% win rate. At MG 4 you get 2 pulls of the jackpot machine instead of 1.
So in theory, you get more elements |
If you pull the switch for elements twice you should get twice as much elements in the long run..
But maybe the second pull of the switch come in turn only if the first one was successful. So if you are going to get an element, you have a chance to get 2 instead. I am too lazy to count it. Anybody does have an archive of "how many elements do I get?".:-)
But I dont feel frequency of elements significantly increased yet.(Altough I have won jackpot few times) |
