Save gold anyway, being for the magic guild or anything else.
You need to build up your laborer guild.
The magic guild is worth it for DE if you use a magic build. But since you have 0 spellpower, you won't get much out of it.
You will probably want it later (lvl8) as a prerequise to magic guild lvl 2 for the dirupt ray spell.
Loocking at one of your battles, it seems you aren't using talents.
Go to your character page, than the link on the left "Talents".
You can choose some nice bonus there.
Note that you can reset those talents at any time for free. |
lvl 5-6-7 , till you get shrevs you should be magician dark elf. Otherwise you gonna lose almost all. |

and do you switch to might de in the future? almost all top100 DEs have fortune, rally, cold blade and battle fury |
Any advice for a lvl 6 DE who just got a TGI? Say tactics and stuff? Will winning ambushes be easy? |
Won't be easy without shrews, I don't really know DE very well but you definately need much more art than that. At least 18 AP I would say. |
What about build? What about unit composition? Rogues seem to die too easily :( |

i was magic DE at low levels (i turned to might at level8 because of shrews)
magic DE is very nice for MG at levels 5-7.
i was the first DE of the server in MG points for levels 5-6 (and maybe 7 too). look at my character page, i have my MG records here.
i have some hunt records too at these levels, with magic build.
some of them at level 6/7 magic DE, without diamonds (for some creatures i did better with my rogues and my magic than might DE with diamond upgrades and their shrews) |
im a lvl 5 dark elf so..is my current creature recruit the best or is thier a better setup.

has anyone played chaos magic DE at lv 10 for PvP?
1: if so what's the best choice of arts and parameters.
i have a full lv 10 mage set and i'm ready to take oblivion potion :)
i'll have 11 points, so do i put all of it in spell power? or some in attack or def.
the mage set gets me 60 mana, is that enough or do i need take it up to 80.
2: what's the best recruit?
3: what's the best talent choice? i was thinking of basic chaos + dom of fire or ice + elemental call + basic erudition. any other options?

1.i dont know... should have at least 60-70 mana(2x call fireball, 1x call lighting,2x normal lighting)
2.max hydra, mino, liz, poisoner, 4 shrew (they'll move 1st to cover ur troops from player with tactics talents)
3. ele call, erudition, sorcery-wisdom (chaos needs 12 points)
dom fire isnt good at all, because u dont play might and usually ur fireball targeted the maximum hit, not for reducing their armor |

@16: mass rapid needs 35 points and you only have 30 at lvl 9 ;) |
I swich to magic time to time, but only for group battles, i cant do any hunt alone with magic build.
In pvp battles magic talent i choose is expert chaos + elemental call+full magic arts--
you can do 396 ball damage and 504 light damage with elemental and 23 spell |
i have the best magic arts to rent for any DE who want to try magic build for a few days. |
@vrajitorul, have you tried any of the 2nd circle chaos talents, dominion of fire ice and storm seem pretty good on paper
and what is the recruitment you are using? |
