@brotherTI After the 1st round, the ambush set up isn't a big deal. There's that 1st round where if you set up badly the demons fireball you, the EFK, Fairies, Cerberi, etc, get to hit more units then they should, but, as Barbs are an offensive class who need to go out and attack things (as was seen by Jambronk getting in amongst the archers), once the combat is started it's all about troop selection.
Yes, you and Jambronk were set up differently. I think you can have won the fight with the configuration you had. |

Talent at level 7 is battle fury. No other choice. Full hobgoblins, full orcs. then fill out the rest.
Arts, is whatever is cheapest. Medal of bravery, Defender shield, leather armour and an axe is what I used. For ambushes I use a full art set up though. |

I originally went max orcs, max wolves, max rocs, some ogres and 1 or 2 hobs. I was getting owned.
I've gone to max wolves, max rocs, then max hobs (about 57), 9 ogres and 25 orcs. Working much better. |

How well does Barbarians do in thieving and anti-thieving combat level 11 and above?
I checked out some fights and it looks like barbarians usually doesn't get the first hit. If against DE then the winning point is a question of whether the wolf raiders go first or the lizard assailants do. |

| Sure, hobs are the best unit for barbs on 5-7 lvl. |
| Hobs with battle fury are insanely good. You get heaps, and they just dish out damage because of the battle fury. 50% increase in damage. If you aren't using battle fury, then they aren't as good. |

hobs are the best unit for barbs on 5-7 lvl. unless you have diamond upgraded wolf raiders, so stick with lvl 5 & 6 recruitment plan. especially since hobs are best due to their large numbers and adding the fort further increases their numbers. |
