AuthorTrade n Fight with friend
Is it against the rule to do that?
No. There are only two conditions related to the combats:
1. not to enter the same combat from the same PC;
2. combats to be fair (not letting 1 player to win intentionally);
and two general conditions:
1. not to transfer the password from one to the other;
2. one account not to become the other player multi.
Oh, I forgot! In the case of transactions in between you two, you need to take care of the fairness of the transactions. That means if you transfer an art, for example, you have to be within the prices of the market/factories because the difference is considered a present and the presents are allowed only in 30% from the monetary property per month. All the transactions need to be well documented.
My friend is playing with different PC n IP address. But I'm afraid to do that before I know the clear rule! In case of trading, I'll trade fairly. just to avoid 1% maket tax
It's okay then.

Yes.

Thanks, DC! I owe you one!

For darmogathel: Yes, it's very legal. Some players don't know what means a team (which here is named clan), so, they consider that being helped by and helping a clan as cheating. More than that, if they see that their point of view is not taken into account (because, of course, that point of view is wrong), they start to invent more and more false accusations. My point here is for you to enjoy this game and to disregard those players who want to harm you. If you don't know or you are not sure on something, just ask as you asked in this thread.

Thanks CGSM....
Example:

07-26-09 18:24: Transferred 3660 Gold to chrisgong27 : for 10 merc at 366 gold ea
07-26-09 18:23: Received 10 Mercury from chrisgong27 : For 366 gold per mercury

The main thing is clarity. When transfers have no description, and there are numerous instances of it, it can become very ambiguous..

It is also advisable(imo) to state in your profile who your friends are, just in case you guys or gals log in from the same pc when you meet up, and then get a fine from admins for being multichars.

Hope this helps.
for CGSMCMLXXV:
Just wanted to add a point with regards to the matter:

https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=5
General rule 1.5.1. The Administration has a right to cease access to the service for users whose in-game behavior is a dedicated assist to another character or group of characters.

As long as a player does not solely just help his friends or a clan without any reciprocation, it's ok. But anyone that just donates continually to his friends to support his enchanting, smithing, thieving, etc with no returns of that 'investment' may be investigated.

This rule was made because of people just sending and donating or helping in some way to a single person to boost the person's Enchanters'/Smiths' guild without any returns or even making losses.
#14:

What are you implying, Takesister? Your post sounds like you call me a cheater. Is it correct that understanding?

Let me tell you how it can be interpreted as well that rule and tell me where I go wrong with my logic.

According to that rule, any character supporting another or a group of characters is called support character and it's a rule breaker. Correct? Any clan leader or treasurer has to work for his/her clan continuously without any benefit. Do you call that a support character?

Another example. One can no longer hunt his/her own hunt, but he/she needs to get some points in HG and decided to help others in their hunts. Is that a support character?

Another one. Two friends or more decided to start fighting pvp's all the time together because they know they would respect each other and they know how to fight together. Do you call any of them a support character?

Of course, the answers in all the cases is no. But, since the rule is not specifying clearly what exactly it refers to, the above interpretations might be correct.

Another question for you, Takesister. What is the difference between setting clan taxes and support a smith/enchanter out of the clan taxes and the members of the clan supporting a smith/enchanter by paying the full price of the service? In our case, I and Anita2008 payed all the elements for our enchants at misaisagona even if on market we could get some money back for our enchants. Why? Because we support our chief enchanter who is misaisagona. Anita2008 and Haran decided to support our smith, but in this case it's about me. Is it wrong just because Anita2008 is my girlfriend?

There are two types of clans in this game: quantitative and qualitative. The first case is looking for as many players as possible, while the second one is looking for supporting each other in everything. The Shadow of Death is belonging to the second case (and we are not the only ones in this game with that expectation), and for that some of the players try to throw with mud just because they don't understand in-game friendship. If friendship is a sin in this game, than I am more than guilty of that charge. And I am not the only one who is to be accused by that sin. But I still hope that the friendship in this game is legal or this game is no longer a game, but a instigator to destructive competitions.

Good luck everyone!
for CGSMCMLXXV:
I am not... Just adding to the point at character SOLELY made to support a character through a clan on the pretext of clan support is illegal.

Unless that's what happening, you're ok. Just wanting to add that small detail since it was a loophole previously exploited and was covered up by the admin.
OK! Thanks for clearing that point for me. :)
What are you implying, Takesister? Your post sounds like you call me a cheater.

She didnt call names, but why when someone says financial assistance, you come with a long post defending yourself. Do you feel like you have to defend your point of view, over and over?
For Omega22:

She was replying to me if you look better. That's why I answered that way.
CGSMCMLXXV, Takesister was merely informing you of a rule that is relevant to your situation. Whether you are breaking that rule or not is for the administrators to decide.

What Takesister is trying to do is give you warning that the smithing activities between yourself and Anita2008 fits the description given by this rule. It is entirely possible that Anita2008 could be found in breach of this rule.

As others (including myself) have advised, it would probably be best for you and Anita2008 to refrain from this activity, unless you wish to run the risk of being penalised by the Administrators. Your continued activity shows that you believe that this is an acceptable risk. I just hope Anita2008 doesn't suffer because of your beliefs.
