I remember having read that if I am being ambushed and defeated I won't be ambushed again in the next 3 hours ... is it true?
Then, if I ambush, and being defeated, I cannot set another ambush for 1 hour... but can I be ambushed? |
| Yes, you can be ambush. The two are not correlated. |
OK .. fact is, I am travelling like hell but not get ambushed ... and when ambushing I only get AI caravans ... funny ...

the point is:
I ambush but only get AI caravans = few travellers or many thieves
I travel a lot and don't get ambushed = many travellers or few thieves
You see they cannot be both true .. so it's either
few and few or many and many ... I think is few and few |
Maybe it depends on which hour of the day you ambush.

AI Caravans are triggered by players. You only have a small chance to catch a player when they pass, else you get the AI Caravan.
If no travellers at all, you get no ambush at all, AI or player.
So:I ambush but only get AI caravans = many travellers

It depends which route(s) you travel and at what hour. Don't worry about your ambushes, sometimes you see no player in days, sometimes you get only players. |

Why?
If there is no traveler, there is no ambush. If there is 1 traveler and more thieves on the same route in the same time, only one of the thieves gets his/her ambushes, the rest of the thieves are still waiting. That specific traveler can trigger to the lucky thief a caravan or can enter the the lucky thief's ambush.
