You also need to restart your ambush every 15min because the game stops you if you don't get an ambush within 15min.
If no players trigger your ambush, then you could easily wait for over 30min (2 waits) with no ambushes. A few rare times I had to wait up to 1hr 30min (6 waits) for an ambush. |
more players = more chances of ambushing. But remember to not leaving it and wait, just like what pantheon had said, after 15 or 20 minutes, check your map and set the ambush again.

| well, I think no need to restart your ambush. Just leave it there. In my level, normally, it takes at least 30m to have an ambush. :( |
| +5, the ambush will be canceled automatically after 20 minutes when you did not encounter anyone caravans or players. |
