a good idea, but if we put this in, how can we possibly make fun of Zyanya's typo's? |

Lol Mrs Typo Resident Z will then become unpopular for her typos.
Good idea .I agree +1 then all the / can be avoided |
This is a goog idea.
However, this will cause people to be dependant on the spell check, so after a long time, we'll poor in English:) |

I've a spell checker now also you know, I just choose to not turn it on :P (except in forums where I *try* to use proper English) |

Just use firefox, simpler and faster solution... and turn your OS language to English. It can be funny when you choose in between UK English and US English (different spell check for the same words like practice/practise, defence/defense, behavior/behaviour, color/colour and so on :D). |
Can post 9 explain to me more clearer? i always use Firefox and GC.so how to activate spell check? |
@10: In MS Windows go to control panel and you have somewhere there language setup (I suppose it comes in combo with keyboard setup). Once the language is set to English (whatever English you prefer), FF and GC will take automatically and underline with red the words which are not in their dictionaries (I suppose it's the MS Windows common dictionary, but not sure). If you get a red wavy (or dotted) line, it means that word is not correctly spelled as you wrote it or it is not found in their dictionary. If you want the correct spell and you don't know it, just search on GOOGLE for the word and it will give you a list of possibilities for the word you are looking for while you are typing. Choose the one you need. The method is quite simple and fast because your browser will underline your misspelled words, so, you know what to search for. |
it does not work tell me exactly plz |
for Moonhunter:
In Firefox: Go to Tools - Options - Advanced -General - Browsing.
Select "Check my spelling as I type". |

It will work, but you need to re-activate within the chat in addition to setting under the tools that TS explained. To do that, just right click on the chat text typing box and check the 'check spelling' box. That should do it. You'll have to redo it every time you re-enter/refresh chat so it is a little unconventional. |
little unconventional.
little inconvenIENT I mean.
I blame my spell checker partly for that one :P cos I mis-spelled it and then chose the wrong option cos it listed a completely different word first. -_- |
Accordingly In FF it does not work properly.I typed 'Sulphur' it gets underlined with red colour and even for 'Colour' it only works in British Spelling. How to change to US spelling? |
for Moonhunter:
Tools - Options - Content - Languages - click choose and select your preferred one. |
