Shrews have a range of 8 while Efk has only 7 - so u have to come near first!
Also if one splits shrews AND they stand aside (not grouped) EFK can hit only one, also EFK has to stand if hit, so can be countered with something else (hydra,mino,lizzy)
So i say Shrews rule! |

Imho, shrews are definitely the best Tier 2 upgrade. Efk are awesome in certain situations, but shrews are always usefull.
8 Speed, no retal and strike & return will always win, not to mention that they do a lot of damage and have a very high initiative... |

any real reason EFK would beat shrews?
of course it does depend on the situations, since Xbows, shrews, EFK's etc all have abilaties that excel in a certain type of battle. Shrews just excel at more battles than any other group though |

with high fsp X-bow ... their number is big and kill most of the shrews/efk with the first 2 shots ...
efk is good for MQ, but efk vs shrews will loose because of higher speed of shrews, no retal and strike&return |

Ok the EFK vs. Shrews isn't an arguement.
Shrews win hands down. They beat EFK, and do more damage in GBs (high level). In caravan, they are about equal. Eventually EFK just dies by retal, but shrews live on. |
| ofcourse shrews are best. thats why they are DE units. they are very powerful, but very few. so, if you are rating 1 teir 2 upgrade against 1 other one, a shrew would be the best. |

infected zombies are way too weak too even be considered as a tier 2 upgrade

shrews by a mile. :)
But incends are not bad considering how much damage they can take and give + there is gate and surround them and you will see what will happen. xD They are strong in ambushes vs wizards and elves at lower levels. |
