Soon to be lvl6.
Was planning to use thief set with 4x10 & 4x20 enhancements for the complete set. Is it a wise idea and would this set last me till say lvl9 or so, or would another set fully enhanced be a better idea ?
Any insight/help/guidance would be appreciated.

i ought to be able to raise a million from diamonds. I need to know is that, is it worth or not....any suggestions about the same. Hopefully with some explanation ;)
Io-AKA-oI....the illegal records are know by me as I was not aware that sharing resources between the alts is forbidden. Upon being told about it....I made a thread in the finance section regarding my mistake. Havn't received any reply from the devs to my message in finance section....but a few people have written to me stating that if i return the gold it (SHOULD) be ok, but THEY CAN'T SAY FOR SURE. Hence the returning process has started....if you see my logs; it says 'Mistake Reverseed & Balance : xxxx'
I hope that you know understand the situation of the illegal transfers in it's complete entity ;)

| Enchants on daggers and crossbow are okay, but on other parts they are not really needed. But if you ask me whether is it worth or not, I wouldn't use them to start thieving, so IMO not worth it. |

this set i would like to use for pvp and pve as well and not just for thieving.
could you kindly enlighten the merits and demerits of an enchanted thieves set....possibly against the other sets.
kinda new to the game and maybe i do not understand some aspects of the game. hence any info would be valuable to my understanding/knowledge of the game.

If you have the diamonds buy crossbowmen and thiefs guild entry for 80 diamonds. You will have a great time with normal arts(artifact shop set).
All the best thieves I know(marked_one included) except vidlak666 have used normal cheap, 300 gold set. Vidlak666 is an exception because he has unlimited gold. :-) Literally unlimited. |
I recommend to start being a thief with minimum arts. The first few caravans are easy enough to win with min arts.
Only after you have big problem beating them, you can start using more Arts (or you can lose few times until they become weaker and you can beat them again)
And if you are able to buy diamonds, it would be better to use it to upgrade your bowmen into crossbowmen than wasting them to enchant full set arts.
I personally don't think there are many Thief hunter at level 6. So, basically you don't need enchanted arts |
if u plan to go thieving, a full enchanted thief set might still be considerable.....
but if not a full enchanted thief set would not be worth it at all....
cause u can get many shop arts that are cheaper

Frm wat I heard, LV6 thieving is like child's play, and recommended to use shop arts. But at LV7, it is hard as hell without tier 2 upgrade(specially DE) hope my advice helped a bit

| It will cost you atleast 56,000 Indian Rupees, as I think you are an Indian.. That too if not full enchant.. Full enchant would cost you like 2 lakh indian rupees.. That is full enchant on all weapons.. Now stop kidding that you would invest almost half of an average middle class guy's annual salary on this!! :D |
m8....only if you played Last Chaos on C server....you might know me AsheeshChawla....richest on c server with over 250 billion in gold. as for spending money....spent more than what you mentioned in Last Chaos alone (not including the other games).
as for half of salary bit....know that did hurt :(
guess it's only the weps for now....other stuff can come later ;)
as i am knew to the game....any insight would be nice. lets just compare the thief set with the regular arts at different lvls. in my opinion the thiev set would be a boon for knight due to their limited speed and their last turn in the ATB.
any comments guys....please teach me ;)

Fully Enchanted weapons for lvl 6 is ridiculous !!!!!
Just have a nice full set of weapons from shop. |
than i would advise u to get xbows cause they r a great upgrade from bows
n buy a good set of arts to either pvp or theif
but i do not think a full enchanted theif set is worth it
for lv 6 the set i mentioned earlier + an amulet of luck should be able to take u through lv 6 in with a breeze |
Since gold is no object to you, then I would recommend fully enchanted thief set for now and then once you reach higher levels somewhere around 10-12, you should switch to fully enchanted shop arts.
While you are at it, you should also switch and use all the factions. Faction resistance is also a very nice thing to have. It'll take a lot of gold to have all the buildings, but since gold is no problem and you have good arts, then it should be easy. |
what is faction resistance ?
do you mean the racial lvl bonus i.e. +1 def for lvl1 and +1 att for lvl2.
if so then i had asked this question in another thread and was told that the racial bonus from changing to another faction are not applicable & that the registered faction will only get the bonus from that faction's lvl and not from the other faction's lvls.
if this is not what you mean....then kindly explain what you mean....i am lost lol.

what is faction resistance ?
Each racial lvl gives you 3% faction resistance to that faction. For example you have knight 4. This gives you 12% damage reduction from any damage from a knight (units, spells, and hero). This reduction stays no matter what faction you switch to.
