Hi all,
Just a simple question: does the DE piercing magic help to recover a part of lost damage enhance with enchants due to the Barbarian magic resistance? (I refer to extra damage with air, water, earth or/and fire.)

DE ability improves spellcasting dmg, not weapon enchants ;)

Yes, they are. That's why I asked. The Barbarian magic proof reduces the extra damage with magic depending on the Barbarian faction level. Normally, DE ability should recover some of the loss due to the Barbarian ability, but not sure and I couldn't find this info in any help (.ru or .com). |
Magic refers to Spell, common term for magical damage is elemental damage.
Eg. Elemental spell damage, elemental physical damage. |

And as in the description of De racial ability , de have a unique ability to inflict extra damage with magic

Of course not. I did make it a question :)
But there's nothing to test here. piercing works only with "cast" magic as OndaNera said. It's been confirmed in older topics. |
