A Clan-based query on transactions.

AuthorA Clan-based query on transactions.
I was checking out some clans on my brother's profile when I stumbled across this:

https://www.lordswm.com/clan_log.php?id=7314

11-16-09 04:09: Zartan has left the clan.
11-16-09 04:08: Clan leadership handed over by Zartan to Minjoot.
11-04-09 10:50: Silk has withdrawn 17250 gold from the clan account.
07-24-09 22:31: MasterTI has left the clan.
07-18-09 14:08: mila23 has left the clan.
07-04-09 00:14: Zartan has withdrawn 9750 gold from the clan account.
06-29-09 05:13: Zartan has deposited 750 gold to the clan account.
06-20-09 05:42: Zartan has deposited 750 gold to the clan account.
06-14-09 16:49: Zartan has deposited 750 gold to the clan account.
06-03-09 20:20: Zartan has deposited 1500 gold to the clan account.
06-01-09 05:08: Zartan has deposited 1500 gold to the clan account.
05-20-09 02:21: Zartan has deposited 1500 gold to the clan account.
05-14-09 03:10: Zartan has deposited 1500 gold to the clan account.
05-06-09 13:31: Zartan has deposited 1000 gold to the clan account.
05-06-09 03:38: Zartan has deposited 1500 gold to the clan account.

Now, my query would be, is this legal? I'm referring to the withdrawals of gold by both Silk and Zartan while no deposits followed.
withdrawals of gold by both Silk and Zartan while no deposits followed.

Zartan deposited first (9750 gold in total), then withdraw.

Silk hasn't deposited anything, it seems, but he was clan treasurer. So, if you are one of the clan members and feel suspictious about Silk withdrawal, I think you can make an application in corresponding forum.
Thanks for the reply^^

I was actually more concerned about the clan balance. If gold is taken out, and then leadership is changed, shouldnt the gold of the clan be transferred back to the new leader to be kept in the deposit? Or does the Treasurer hold specific rights to hang on to the said gold even if leadership changes?
for arcanyx: they should transfer the money to the clan leader then the clan leader must transfer it back to the clan bank
for arcanyx:
The gold, in theory, should be transferred to the new leader unless there's an agreement. The treasurer only has the rights to deposit and withdraw.

Clan leadership cannot change hands if there is any gold in the clan treasury, so the treasurer really has no power during a changeover.
for Takesister:
ah now thats more clear to me, thanks :)

Now, we'll be hoping that particular clan does clean up their act though.
One more aspect here, arcanyx. A clan may use the gold from treasury to fulfill its promises to its members. So, it is not mandatory for the treasurer to put back the money if the clan leader instructed the treasurer to use that money to achieve the clan goals. Maybe a discussion with Silk would shed some light here. Therefore I encourage you to contact Silk or anyone else who has this kind of transaction before making it publicly.
for CGS:
Thanks mate, that further clears it up. Nah, I wasnt much into making a fuss, was just wondering can a Treasurer function like that. I was never a Post holder in a large clan, so yeah, newbie in that aspect. Thanks again though. :)
Also, technically, clan gold belongs to its leader. But he is bound by the rules to keep his promises he made to his members about the use of that gold.
This topic is long since last update and considered obsolete for further discussions.
