This may have been the case months ago but now you can expect reaching thief guild level 2 in less than two weeks and without diamond upgrades while being combat level 6. I know a player who done this in one week and ONE DAY, without diamond upgrades and without wearing an unconsidered quantity of artifacts (he even had a low faction standing so...you can do it).

There are quite a few who have got to TG2 in less than 3 even 2 days!
Anyway none of that matters now with the new rules in place. |

Well since he has done it, it's not impossible is it :P
And 8 days was more than enough to finish TG2 at any level with a decent set of arts with the faster factions in the 12x12 fields. It boils down to the number of hours you play in those 8 days :)
Anyway I don't really see the point of this being in QaH. |

it's not impossible, you can get TG2 in 1day if you're VERY VERY VERY LUCKY!!!!
since people teach others teach others teach others, to put 1 gremlins to guard them in their travel, so thief can make it althought they were even had a low faction standing and unconsidered quantity of artifacts ;)

| I only remember the case of a thief who finished TG level 2 before the 3rd day of rent ended. 120 fights are not that much and caravans are pretty easy when you begin thieving. |
