Not sure if anyone knows...but I hope someone does :)
First, how many spouses will the game allow you to take?
Second, if you assign an estate to one Spouse, could you assign another to a different one? Or does it automatically do the same spouse for all your estates?
Third, if you have multiple spouses (assuming it is allowed) can you change the spousal assignment at any given time at your estate?
Last, if you can only have one spouse, how can you terminate (divorce) the relationship?

I'm not sure how many spouses you can take, but it is more than one and gender isn't an issue.
You can only assign one spouse to the bedchamber.
All relationships can be broken. |
Yea, I know Gender isn't an issue. Saw a marriage between two guys, twice now. I had no idea there was a sweetheart relationship hehe. You think you can assign a bedchamber to a sweetheart?
Anyway, if anyone knows the answers to above via firsthand knowledge, let me know please :) |

And a message box will shows up showing:
Are you sure you want to break up the relationship? Cost: 2000 gold. You will have 48 hours to change your mind. |
You can have an unlimited amount of spouse relationships, but only one of those can be lodged to get the bonus.
Sweetheart counts as spouse relationship.
To break up, proceed to EC's Registry. |
