But nothing new is added to my spellbook...

The talents ALLOWS you to learn
To learn spells, you need the Magic Guild of that level.
Without the talent, having the Magic guild will not do anything either. |
To rephrase Straws and Takesister:
The magic talents allow you to learn level 3 and above spells.
No talent necessary for levels 1 and 2.
Basic: level 3
Advanced: level 4
Expert: level 5
But you also need the build the Magic Guilds for each level.

Magic Guild 2
Magic Guild 3
4 and 5 is not available yet. |
